SDF NEXT: Geothermal Project Groundbreaking Ceremony

The Louisville Regional Airport Authority (LRAA) celebrated the beginning of its geothermal project at the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF), which will be the largest geothermal system of any airport in the country. Using geothermal technology, this $21.7 million project will save energy by using the earth’s natural temperature to heat and cool the Jerry E. Abramson Terminal.
